Wild Wins Seneca Championship

Sagamore's Jimmy Wild bested AJ Borisa in a playoff to win the Seneca Course Championship on Sunday, while 12 players earned their spot in the Cleveland Am. RESULTS >

- Delaney Martin won the 2021 U.S. Women's Am Qualifier at Westfield CC, as Westlake's Cara Heisterkamp, Cailyn Henderson and Lauren Freyvogel also advanced;

- Skyland Pines Golf Course in Canton will close after the Labor Day weekend, shuttering so an Amazon distribution center can be built. Tournament players can get one last crack at Skyland as it hosts the final round of the 2021 Stark County Amateur starting this coming Saturday;

- Andrew Yard and Grace May won the Overall Championships, while Dean Upholzer and Madolyn Kost won their Age 11-15 Divisions in the NOPGA Junior Series Championship at Windmill Lakes;

- two Saturday rain-outs have led to reschedules, as the Sleepy Hollow Course Championship + CLE Am Q is now reset to play on Sat, July 31 while the ADGA 3-Man Shamble at Chippewa will be played on Sun, Aug 1st;

- the inaugural NEO High School Invitational will be played on Thursday, July 29th at Chippewa Golf Club, right before the start of high school golf tryouts;
