- Jonathan Lieser and Scott McVey won the ADGA 2-Man Jumble at Shady Hollow, while Bobby Spino and Bruno Chirumbolo topped the Seniors;

- Ryan Hostetler shot 73 to win the Championship Flight at the 2020 Golfweek Am Tour event at Shale Creek, with 30+ players across five flights;

- the 2021 Ohio Open heads to Westfield Country Club for its 100th playing at the club's two newly-renovated courses next year;

- golf is hot: the Senior Summit County Am starting Friday at Good Park has a full field at 108 players, while the NOGA Interclub Team Championship at Canterbury on Monday has a deep, deep waiting list;

- Windmill Lakes Golf Club is hosting its annual Tent Sale all week long, from Wed Aug 12 through Sun Aug 16 (deals! deals! deals!);

- Week 12 of the Chippewa Scratch League had no skins won, meaning there will be a big CARRY-OVER skins pot next Monday that any 2-am team can claim;
