Am Milo Captures Tigertown Open

Amateur Danny Milo of Mentor hung in on his last few holes then made a great par-saving putt at the last to win the Tigertown Open at The Elms Country Club in Massillon. Paul Wackerly, Connor Curry, Ricky Denny and Avery Schneider tied for low Pro, Wackerly was low Senior Pro, and the just-turned-50 Dave Oates took the Senior Division. RESULTS > | PHOTO GALLERY >

Shaker Heights resident and former Cleveland State golfer Andrew Bailey shot 8-under par over four days at Canterbury to win the 117th Ohio Amateur by two shots. RESULTS >

Sleepy Hollow Championship + CLE Am Q

Justin Trzebuckowski made a 25-foot eagle putt on the first playoff hole to beat Michael Witmer in the Sleepy Hollow Championship, as a score of 153 was required to qualify for the Cleveland Amateur. RESULTS >

- Akron's Solomon Petrie qualified for the U.S. Amateur at Moraine CC in Dayton. He was +5 thru nine but finished 4-under par for the 36 holes, including birdies at 3 of his last 4 holes. He then birdied the first playoff hole to earn a spot at Cherry Hills;

- Mark Scott, Jr. and Blake Sattler tied atop the NOPGA Stroke Play #6 at Shaker Heights CC with 4-under par 67, as Tom Waitrovich won the Senior Division with a 68;

- Aaron Kazan + Kevin Mcafee, Dennis Holtzapple + Joel Recht and Brant Harbert + Jeffrey Conforte shared the NOGA Net Series Four-Ball #4 victory at Glenmoor;
