North Canton's Dr. Jeff Mallette qualified for match play with a T14 at Martis Camp Club in Truckee, CA, then won matches decisively in the Round of 64 and Round of 32. He fell to his Round of 16 opponent Roger Newsome of Virginia Beach by 5&3. Nice run, Doc! RESULTS >

RD1 Leaders Convert at Turkeyfoot

With each having the lead or a share of the lead after Saturday's Round 1 of the Turkeyfoot Course Championships, Vaughn Snyder won the Championship Division, Dave Trier topped the Seniors (while making a Sunday ACE on the par-3 15th!), Randy Steele bested the Super Seniors, and Cari Hetler led the Women’s Division.
