Located on the Perrysburg countryside, Tanglewood Golf Club was cut out of the woods by designer Richard Wyckoff in 1950. The 18 fairways are framed by numerous trees making for a challenging, but enjoyable game of golf.
The fairways are quite narrow and you will have a lot of balls flying at you from other fairways and tee boxes. Most fairways are 30 yards or less in width and are stacked and staggered right next to each other. If you have a group behind you, you will be shooting balls toward each other all day long.
It is an older mature course with lots of mature trees. It doesn’t look like a converted cornfield.
There is no website to get more information, but they do have a Facebook Page.
The fairways and greens are in poor shape and are the source of the most complaints.
They do have a full service bar and restaurant offered on site.
Tanglewood is a family-oriented facility, so bring the kids and have a fun filled outing together that will have the whole family entertained.
