- Plenty of closing drama as Bob Sowards and Sam Arnold finished tied for the SOPGA Tour Championship after 36 holes at Scioto, then Sowards won the playoff;
- Warren JFK cruised to a 23 shot win in the OHSAA Boys D3 State Championship at NorthStar GG, as sophomore Paul Stechschulte of Kalida won the individual title by five shots at 4-under par;
- Jim Troy (Championship Division), Gary Rusnak (Senior Division), and Kyle Buzaki (Associate Division) took their brackets at the NOPGA's Denny Shute Match Play Championship;
- North Canton father-and-son Jeff + Ryan Mallette earned a berth in the 2026 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball with medalist honors at the Golden Ocala FL qualifier;
- The Northern Ohio PGA Juniors dominated the singles session 11 to 5, giving them their third consecutive victory in the Junior Ohio Cup by a 17 to 7 margin over the SOPGA Juniors;
- Scott McVey + Kyle Jones made nine birdies and an eagle to shoot 61 and win the Zoar Fall Scramble by one shot over a pair of teams;
- Tony Adcock and Ian Haidle survived three elimination holes and an extra playoff hole to win the NOPGA Shoot-Out at Plum Brook;
- The Ohio teams of Ben + Deanna Hogenkamp (Mixed Team) of Dayton and Kirk Geiling + Tom Dinkelacker (Seniors) from Cincinnati won their divisions at the national Doubles Golf Championship at The Bear's Club in Jupiter, FL;
- Antonio Bodziony, Tony Adcock, and David Griffith blitzed Westwood CC with a 15-under par 56 to win by three at the NOPGA Fall Pro-Pro-Pro Scramble;
- The Active Season ends across Ohio for posting scores to GHIN for local rounds: now closed for NOGA and GCGA, on November 30 for OGA and MVG;
- The Kaulig Companies Championship gave dozens of Northeast Ohio charities over $2.1 million in 2025, the largest annual charitable total ever generated from professional golf events at Firestone Country Club;
- Mike Heisterkamp and Greg Moore will be inducted into the NOPGA Hall-of-Fame at the awards reception on Dec 7 at the Westfield CC;
