Sattler Blisters Elyria for Six Shot Win

Blake Sattler dominated the NOPGA Club Car / Pepsi Stroke Play #2 at Elyria Country Club, shooting 7-under par 65 to win by six shots, as Tom Waitrovich and Gary Rusnak shared the Senior title. RESULTS >

- Tues, May 20 at midnight is the entry deadline for the Ohio Senior Open at the Firestone Fazio course in Akron on May 28-29;

- Ryan Stefanski + Mike Simpson made back-to-back eagles on the back nine to shoot a 9-under 63 and win by one at weather-wild Cleveland Metroparks Golf Manakiki 2-Player Scramble;

- Solon's Serena Wu and Westerville's Pierce Stealey led after the first round of the NOPGA Junior Tour 36-hole event at Ashland Golf Club, then both closed the victory with a solid Sunday score;

- Matthew Morrone + Zach Martin and Ian Tricker + Hudson Rice shot 59 at Reserve Run GC to share The Greatest Golfer's Joe "Dickey" Electric Junior opener;

- Jeffrey Lacy + Steve Snyder won the Columbus District Golf Association Spring Old Pal Scramble at NorthStar GC, edging Noah Fernandez + Damon Birkhead;

- Boulder Creek Golf Club in Streetsboro is going Hollywood, as it will be the location for a video crew to shoot a Dick's Sporting Goods commercial for three days in late June;

- Alex Macielewicz routed the field in the OHIO.GOLF PGA Championship Fantasy event, winning by four strokes with Scottie Scheffler (-11), Joaquin Niemann (-4), Keegan Bradley (-4) and Robert Macintyre (+3);

- As the 2025 PGA Championship played out this past weekend at Quail Hollow, we took a look back 50 years at the PGA Championship at Firestone won by Ohio's own Jack Nicklaus.

PGA TOUR Champions + Country Music

Country music star Conner Smith will headline “A Night in Nashville” honoring veterans and first responders at Folds of Honor Friday on June 20 at the Kaulig Companies Championship. Happy hour kicks off the evening with the concert taking place right after play in the expanded Kaulig Infinity Zone, located next to the water tower at Firestone Country Club.
