    - The Miami Valley Golf Spring 2-Player Better Ball at the NCR Country Club South Course in Dayton ran into heavy weather before all 18 holes of the shotgun event could be completed, so winners will be announced later this week based on holes completed;

    - Gary Rusnak + Scott Pollack from 1899 Indoor Golf Twinsburg shot 11-under par over the North and South at Firestone to win NOPGA Pro-Pro Premier by one;

    - In some challenging cold conditions over two days at Kinsale Golf Club, Ben Kern, Sam Arnold, and David Podrasky won their respective division titles in the Southern Ohio PGA Match Play Championships;

    - Hickory Hills' Mike Stackus won his second consecutive Columbus District Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship title, as Terry Wamack topped the Seniors, and Vin Cahill and Dave Lennox shared the Super Senior crown;

    - Entries are open for the 96th Northeast Ohio Amateur Championship and the 5th Northeast Ohio Women's Amateur Championship at Windmill Lakes GC in Ravenna on Sat May 30 - Mon June 1;

    - Five teams shared the title at the NOPGA Pro-Pro Scramble at Shady Hollow, each finishing at 8-under-par 64;

    - PGA Life Member Tom Waitrovich and Mike Heisterkamp of Chagrin Valley Country Club won the NOPGA Holden Pro-Pro Shoot-Out at Lake Forest;

    - The six Cincinnati Recreation Commission golf facilities will focus on enhancing course conditions, operational efficiencies, and the overall guest experience through a new 'Better Golf in Progress' improvement initiative;

    - The Northern Ohio PGA is accepting entries for the Senior Ohio Open at the Firestone Fazio Course in Akron on Wed May 27 - Thu May 28;

    - The NOPGA Foundation’s “Clubs Fore Kids” program will donate 120+ sets of clubs to 22 area schools -- plus bags, balls and accessories -- during a fitting session on May 13th at Westfield Country Club;

    - Dayton's Wright State Men's Golf Team won their third consecutive Horizon League Championship, as Shane Ochs earned the individual medalist honors;
