- 1899 Golf Twinsburg will host the 2026 NOGA Winter Series, three monthly 2-player indoor tournaments played in gross and net divisions on top TrackMan virtual courses. Play begins at 9 a.m. on Saturdays, Jan 24, Feb 21, and Mar 21;
- Major championship golf is coming to Ohio in 2026 and 2027, see which big USGA events will be played when and where across the state;
- For the fifth consecutive year, Windmill Golf Center in Macedonia has been named a 'Top 50 Stand Alone Facility' in the USA by the Golf Range Association of America;
- Read the story about Lawson Little Jr. and “The Little Slam” he accomplished at The Country Club in Pepper Pike, a feat that remains unmatched after 90 years;
- Miami Valley Golf is now accepting nominations for its next class of the Dayton Golf Hall of Fame;
- The Golf Dome in Chagrin Falls has outfitted all of their indoor bays with TopTracer Range, app access now included as part of every practice session;
- Jack J. Grdina, past president of the Northern Ohio Golf Association, passed away on January 1st at the age of 78;

- The OHIO.GOLF Fantasy Series will return for 2026, offering players a chance to win cash prizes for picking a team of pros then topping the field at select PGA TOUR events! The fantasy season kicks with the WM Phoenix Open at the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course on February 5th. Watch the website for entry details the last week of January;
- Ohio's Muirfield Village in Dublin and The Golf Club in New Albany made the brand new list of Golf Digest's "25 Best Locker Rooms in Golf, Ranked";
- Hudson's Ellsworth Meadows will turn its old clubhouse into an outing/event center after opening a new clubhouse at the end of 2025, and wants local golfers in the carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting biz to have first crack at bidding for the renovation work.
