- Toledo's Michael Balcar won his fourth NOPGA Assistants Championship title in the last five years by shooting 6-under par over 36-holes at Oberlin GC, as he and Anthony Panepento qualified again for nationals;
- Bob Sowards won another SOPGA New Albany Classic, posting a bogey-free 66 at New Albany Country Club to win by one over Michael Auterson;
- Jimmy Wild + Matt Frey jumbled their way to 4-under par 67 on a challenging day at Sleepy Hollow, winning the Cleveland Metroparks Golf Bill Barbour Cup by one shot over two teams;
- Fairlawn's Howard Clendenin and Windham's Rob Schustrich finish 1-2 at the 2025 Senior Porter Cup in Niagra Falls on Sep 3-5;
- Jennifer Korn + Ellen Whittle shot a 68 in the CDGA Women's Old Pal Four-Ball at The Lakes G&CC to win Gross by two shots, as Jane Harlamert + Richele O'Connor finished second in gross and won the Net;
- Dylan Schwarz won the Championship Division of the NOGA PrimePay Net Stableford on the final hole at Firestone Fazio, as John Melnik and William Immler tied at the top of the Senior Division;
- 70+ Northern Ohio PGA Members will attempt to raise $175,000+ on Monday, Sep 15 at Medina Country Club in the sixth annual NOPGA Birdies + Charity Foundation event, so pledge now;
- The USGA announced the Pathways Launch Program offering 3-month paid internships available to students across nine golf-focused organizations, candidates can apply now;
