A guaranteed first place prize of $10,000 has been announced for the upcoming Sunbelt Tour Cleveland Senior Open at Little Mountain Country Club in Concord August 22-24th.
Tournament Director Gary Trivisonno confirms that the Sunbelt Tour now guarantees the whopping first place prize will be awarded, and the Tour will take entries into the event through next week Wednesday, August 17th.
Many of the events of the Sunbelt Tour have a total purse of $10K, but the Cleveland event has secured enough sponsorship and player interest to raise the stakes considerably. The Sunbelt Tour Cleveland Senior Open is sponsored by Jackson-Dieken & Associates and Pat O’Brien Chevrolet.
The Sunbelt Tour is a national senior tour event series in which professionals must be at least age 47 to compete. There is also a Super-Seniors Division for players at least age 57, but the first place prize for that division is a lesser amount, still to be determined.
