Eddie Neer widened his lead on the 2010 Leaderboard on Thursday at Tanglewood National Golf Course, grabbing two of the three skins won on the night.
Neer made birdie on the short par-4 second hole, and then followed that up with a birdie on the 520-yard par-5 sixth hole that held up.
Each skin was worth $122.66, so Neer’s $253.32 night pushed his lead to $487.78 on the year.
Dan Lanese nabbed the other skin of the evening — his first of the year — at the 410-yard par-4 fifth hole with a chip-in birdie.
Pin shot winners were Steve Blackburn Jr. on the 220-yard 4th hole and Geoff Nicely on the 184-yard 7th hole. No birdies were made on those par 3’s. Pin shots were worth $56.00 each
Next Thursday, September 9th, the Greater Cleveland Skins Game is making a change from the original schedule: the game goes to Wicked Woods in Newbury with a 4:40 start.
