Wicked Woods in Newbury was the venue for the 22nd week of the 2011 Greater Cleveland Skins Game.
And on the first chilly, fall-feeling Thursday evening of this year, five skins were spread around — two of which were grabbed by a player who had not earned a skin in the previous 21 events on the season.
Geoff Nicely opened the night on with a skin on the par-4 10th hole by nailing a 30-foot putt for a birdie.
Brian Pentek of Painesville has waited 22 weeks for something to happen, but finally cashed in by grabbing two skins with birdies on the par-4 11th hole and par-5 12th hole.
Phil Bojc double-dipped with a $30 pin shot and a skin on the downhill 155-yard par-3 15th hole.
Steve Blackburn Jr. made birdie on the 347-yard par four 16th hole for the final skin of the night.
Skins were worth $46 each.
Dave Sotka, who currently sits atop the 2011 Leaderboard, grabbed the Mulligan’s Pin Shot on the uphill 150-yard par three 14th hole, good for adding $40 to his total.
Next week, the Greater Cleveland Skins Game moves to Erie Shores Golf Course in Madison with play starting at 4:30 p.m.
