Kevin Miller of Dover, the 2010 Ohio Public Links champion, earned the lone U.S. Public Links qualifying spot that was up for grabs in Monday’s 36-hole event at Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley.
Miller posted 72-70=142 (2-under par) to beat first alternate Justin Lower of Canal Fulton and second alternate Zach Glassman of Highland Heights (who lost the alternates’ playoff) by two shots.
Miller will play in the U.S. Public Links Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Club in Bandon, Oregon June 27th – July 2nd.
