Danny Marr and Bobby Spino took home a bulk of the winnings in the first Steak & Cash Night competition of the 2013 season in the Chippewa Scratch League.
The pair stood at a mere even par after the first two formats, but rallied with a stunning 4-under par aggregate score in the shamble format — which included a double-birdie on 7 (skin!) and single birdies at 8 and 9 — to win that segment plus the overall event.
But the biggest story of the session may be the play of Scratch League veterans Vic Kline and G Westover, who tied for second overall and nabbed a skin on the 8th! Updated standings here…
