The weather forecast looks promising (48 degrees!), so get out for the first ever Chippewa Christmas Tournament!
Bobby Spino and Mark Thomas (MT) have put together one last golf battle for 2014:
When: Tuesday December 23rd. Times from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Where : Chippewa Golf Course – Doylestown, Ohio
Format: 18 hole $50 stroke play tournament with $50 Big Skins – play in one game or both. Green fees and cart $25.
Rules: Amateurs Only, Winter Rules (roll them in your own, 1 scorecard length)
Tees? MT and Bobby will set. Probably front of backs, or backs or middle of 2nd sets. 6,400-6,500 yards-ish. We want birdies and eagles.
You can play in skins only. Skins split as we always do on Mondays.
Medal pot will be 70% to 1st, 30% to 2nd. Nothing taken out.
The proprietor, Mr. Kevin Larizza, said he was even going to ask his wife to make some stew for a post-round meal. MT might give a shot at about 25 stuffed cabbages as well. Feel free to bring something!
