Under cool, sunny skies, seventeen players made their way to the Fairways at Twin Lakes in Kent. The greens are always tricky at the Fairways and birdies again proved to be scarce.
There were only 8 birdies in the field but Dave Sotka from Chardon had three of them and two held up for skins.
Sotka’s skins came on both par three’s as he birdied the 165 yard par three 2nd hole and the 160 yard par three 8th hole!
Mark Foss had the other skin on the night on the 380 yard par four first hole.
Skins paid $130.33 each.
Bob Karshner earned the pin shot on the 2nd hole worth $52, and Sotka had the Mulligan’s pin shot on the 8th hole worth $68.
Sotka’s big night sends him up the leaderboard but Steve Blackburn Jr. sits at the top with a big total.
