Mark Foss of Mayfield Heights picked a great night to get hot. It was ‘Double Down” night at Tanglewood National Golf Club, and Foss scorched the back nine with 4 birdies — 2 of them holding up for skins.
Foss drained a 30-footer on the short par four 11th hole for a skin, then double-dipped on the 170-yard par three 16th hole from 8 feet away for a skin and pin shot there.
Mike Dota earned the only other skin on the night on the 360-yard 12th hole.
Each skin paid $230!!!
Nick Anagnost nabbed the other pin shot on the 210-yard 13th hole.
Each pin shot paid $105.
With his huge night, Mark Foss moves on-top of the Leaderboard! Foss played almost flawless golf on the night shooting, a 1 under 71 from the back tees on the challenging Tanglewood course with bogeys on the last 2 holes.
Next week, the Greater Cleveland Skins plays Windmill Lakes for the first time ever starting at 5:30pm. All amateur players are welcome to join the game!
