No one wanted the victory badly enough in Week 5 of the 2016 Chippewa Scratch League.
Four teams tied for first place with a pedestrian score of just 3-under par in the better ball format on the front nine at Chippewa.
That final result was quite a surprise, too: the golf course is looking great, the greens are rounding into shape, and the weather was scoreable. Some team should have reached 5-under par.
But two of those four T1 teams — Dave Oates with partner Sam Spino, and Shayne Bishop with Ken Koprivec — also split the skins pot, so they took away a reasonable haul for the week.
And with their double-dip, Bishop moves to the top of the 2016 Chippewa Scratch League Leaderboard, with partner Koprivec jumping into second place…
