It’s like 2016 all over again. Shayne Bishop and Ken Koprivec took the first week’s event on Monday in the 2018 Chippewa Scratch League, winning by a single shot in the scramble format on the back nine.
Bishop and Koprivec won the season-long race in 2016 with a hot start, never looking back.
Foreshadowing? Maybe not.
The ghost of Quinn Parker (MIA recently because of a pair of new babies) and his partner Kyle Jones jumped out to the 2018 season-long lead by taking the entire skins pot with an eagle out of the gate at the par-5 10th, coupled with a T2 on the evening.
