A trio of teams shared top honors in the Week 10 Steak Night format at Chippewa Golf Club in Doylestown on Monday, which features three holes each of Scramble, Better Ball and Shamble Combined Score.
In addition to a first place tie overall, the team of Chris Helaney and Raul Mendoza solo swept the entire Shamble segment with a blistering 4-under par combined score.
Veteran players Jeff Dean and Rick Bryson also earned a tie for first place overall. They bolstered their take by nabbing a T1 in Scramble and taking half of the skins pot at holes 3 and 4, making them the week’s big winners.
The man at the top of the Leaderboard, Shayne Bishop, paired with partner Ken Koprivec to capture a share of first place overall as well, and further added to his lead with a Better Ball T1.
Winnings from the additional 3-hole segments have shaken up the 2018 Leaderboard standings in a big way, including Koprivec’s move into second position…
