The final week of the 2019 Chippewa Scratch League couldn’t set up any better.
The last group of the day in Week 16 covered the last open skin for the session, meaning a skins pot CARRY-OVER will be in play along with the oversized pots of the 3/3/3 finale next week!
Ty Kovach and Allen Freeman won the scramble format on the back nine with a 5-under par 31 to inch their way up the leaderboard.
But pole-sitter Mike Simpson earned a second place slice with partner Jim Krivanek to further increase his Leaderboard position.
So with the carry-over and three-hole scramble/BB/shamble payouts available in next Monday’s finale, there are still some scenarios TBD…
STEAK NIGHT FINALE DETAILS:
The entry fees per player for next Monday’s 3/3/3 Steak Night finals is $10 for each three hole segment ($30), $15 for the 9-hole total, and $15 for the skins pot. The jumbo steak dinner with all of the trimmings is just $15 (thx Kevin!). The league golf+cart is $24 like always. If you did not play in the Week 16 event, you must also pay $10 into the skins pot to cover the carry-over.
This final Chippewa Scratch League event of the 2019 season is open to all 2-player amateur teams; the more the merrier! Come compete for a nice pot and enjoy a delicious, crazy-low priced steak dinner after!
