Before Week 8, Shaun Kloetzer and John Karamas had won a total of $12.50 each for all of the 2019 Chippewa Scratch League season.
After Week 8, they have just a little bit more.
Kloetzer and Karamas swept the Week 8 carry-over skins pot totaling $790 by making an eagle-3 on the par-5 11th hole in the scramble format. A drive in the fairway, a laser 3-wood up the hill into the wind, and a 20-foot putt straight into the back of the cup jumped the pair back into contention on the season-long Leaderboard, now sitting at T6.
Three teams tied for first place with an incredibly competitive 6-under par (kind of like last week’s stout 4-way tie at 5-under par in better ball). The six-way split bunched up the 2019 Leaderboard even more, with Vaughn Snyder retaking the lead…
