A 5-way tie for first place was the result in the scramble format on the back nine in Week 4 of the 2020 Chippewa Scratch League.
Two teams who were not part of that T1 five-way-tie nabbed the two skins earned on the evening.
That means many, many “winners”.
But since John Kabasky and Nate Petry, the two players atop the 2020 Leaderboard, were one of the five T1-ers, they extended their lead over the rest of the field in the season-long race.
Of note, the Chippewa Scratch League has increased its field sizes in 2020, consistently with 20+ teams in its events. So grab an amateur partner and come down to Chippewa on Mondays whenever you can. It might be your week to win a solo first place and a skins pot sweep to jump to the top of the Leaderboard…
