John Pattakos and Bill Richards were the big winners in Week 8 of the 2020 Chippewa Scratch League.
In the Better Ball format, the pair posted a solid 4-under par 32 to earn a three-way share of first place, while grabbing two of three skins won on the evening — including a birdie at the last to help them accomplish both.
They shared the session’s victory with Bobby Spino and Jeff Mallette, who nabbed the third skin to boost their total, and the team of Jim Grosso and Daniel Mosher.
SCHEDULING NOTE: the mid-season 3/3/3 Steak Night event will be held in two weeks, on Monday, July 20th. That means bonus pots for each 3 hole segment (so bring extra cash) and a delicious steak dinner after play (cooked to perfection with all the trimmings for just $20!). No advance reservations are needed, just pay for the dinner when you check in that evening for golf. We look forward to seeing an even bigger field than the big turnouts we’ve had already this season!
