This 2022 Walsh team looks to be just as strong as Warrior teams of the recent past, with Josh Weiner leading the way and solid support from the cast of juniors and seniors. “I will not be surprised to see Steven, Logan, and Ryan break into top spots early in the year,” said Coach Bill Reilly.
Senior Josh Weiner (scoring avg 75.4) was a leading force from the first round of the year firing a 6 -under par ‘29’ during the first day of Tryouts and never looked back from there. That continued throughout the season with a great start including a Top 5 finish (73) at the University School Invitational and Ashland Invitational (78) as well as 7 events with scores in the 70’s. He will be a dominant figure in the 2022 season. Josh has also been the leading scorer the past 2 seasons on the hockey team.
