The Mogadore Wildcats look to be a strong contender in the league, sectional, and districts this upcoming season. They will be led by an exceptional player who looks to cap off an outstanding career. Senior Dillon Pendergast is one of the best players in the area, averaging 36.6 for 9 holes and 74.5 for 18. He finished 2nd team All Ohio (6th overall) at the State Tournament at the Scarlet Course in Columbus. He is also the two time defending PTC league player of the year. Mogadore will look to fellow senior Seth Baglia and three younger players, Tristyn McCaman, Lucas Butler, and Kyle Gardner to round out their scoring this year.

Cole Hostetler just missed qualifying for the Div. II state tournament a year ago and Rootstown was just two strokes short of qualifying for state as a team. “Cole is an extremely hard worker and has played in double digit summer tournament rounds. I’m expecting Cole to have an outstanding senior season,” said Coach Keith Waesch. Rootstown’s supporting case will also play a vital role, led by returning players Lane McKenzie and Austin Biggin.
