Waynedale High School and the entire Wayne County community will be playing in memory of star player Deegan Bee, who tragically passed away in a car accident this summer. Bee was a State Tournament qualifier last year and a beloved teammate.
Waynedale will have two upperclassmen leading the way in 2022, senior Trey Barkman and junior Mark Yoder. “The bottom half of our line up will be young players,” according to Coach Melinda Budd. An impressive group of freshmen coming up gives Waynedale a good amount of hope for this year and the future.
