Girard is returning all four scorers from last year’s Sectional tournament. Seniors Marie Ragozzino and Mary Bonamase will certainly take the top two spots for the Indians and look to lead the team into contention in the NE8.

Hubbard has two large tasks to overcome in 2022. The first is replacing a senior heavy District qualifying team and the second is being bumped up to Division 1 this season. They will look to gain experience early and let that take them into the latter half of the season.

2021 Recap- 12th at District Tournament

Lakeview will have their work cut out for them trying to replace a senior heavy, District qualifying team from last year. Returning sophomore Cassie Klotz will have to step up as a young team leader.

Niles McKinley

Niles is in a very unique position, as one of two teams to drop from Division 1 to Division 2 beginning in 2022. This will give the Red Dragons a better look at placing in Sectionals. They will be a young team with a good amount of returning players. A year of experience may go a long way to lead the team to new heights this season.

Poland just missed qualifying for Districts last season, finishing one spot away from moving on. The Bulldogs may have an uphill battle this year after losing graduated senior Sophia Yurich, who was one stroke away from playing in the State Tournament. They will rely on several returning upperclassmen to make their run in 2022.
