Ohio Am RD2 Suspended Overnight After Weather Delay

West Chester’s Joe Wilson IV used a hot putter to card an 8-under par 64 at Zanesville Country Club during Round 2 of the 2025 Ohio Amateur Championship.

After his opening round of 5-under par 67, Wilson’s 36-hole total of 13-under par 131 is believed to be the lowest in Ohio Amateur Championship history.

Wilson, a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes Golf Team, currently holds a four shot lead over T.J. Kreusch of Dayton, who has finished 36 holes at 9-under par 135.

Wednesday’s second round was suspended at 4:38 p.m. due to dangerous weather. Play resumed at 7:20 p.m., but not all players were able to complete their rounds, as play was halted at 8:55 p.m for darkness. Play will resume Thursday morning to complete the second round, immediately followed by a cut and the start of the third round.
