The Akron District Golf Association has changed the divisions format for its upcoming ADGA 3-Man Shamble at Chippewa GC on Saturday, June 17th.
While this event has been played in separate age divisions in the past, the 2023 event will feature just one division for all teams but with variable tees by age for the players on each team.
All players under the age of 50 will play Chippewa’s back tees. Players ages 50+ will play the middle tees. A team can mix the ages of the players on its roster, and each player on the team will play their appropriate tee.
Shamble format: all three players tee off, the best tee shot is selected, then each player finishes the hole individually from there. Two of the best three scores are added together to be used for the team score.
