Rocky River’s Andrew Bailey has made it to the Round of 16 in the prestigious North & South Amateur at Pinehurst Country Club.
Bailey, a Cleveland State player, finished T4 at even par in the 54-hole stroke play portion of the event to get into match play.
In match play, Bailey won his first match against local resident Michael McGowan of Southern Pines, N.C. by 2 and 1, but then lost 1-up in his second match to Zachary Bauchou of Forest, Va.
