Carl “Unc” Quercioli put his fingers into both pots, earning a skin with a birdie on the 400-yard par four 9th hole and the Mulligan’s pin shot on the 238-yard par three 7th hole worth $168. Unc walked away with whopping $409.50 on the night, vaulting him from ‘not on the leaderboard’ into fourth place in the chase for the Thompson Cup!
Ryan Gutowski of Fairlawn, Ohio won the Lake Erie Golf Tour tournament at Chippewa Golf Club on Thursday, posting a strong 6-under par score of 65 to win by three shots.
On a perfect evening for golf, four teams tied for first place in the 2-man scramble format on the back nine at the Chippewa Scratch League on Monday, as no team could really break out of the pack or light it up with the tougher than normal hole locations.

Tim Ailes of Lewis Center, OH cruised to an impressive six shot victory in the Lake Erie Golf Tour event at Gleneagles GC in Twinsburg on Thursday, matching the course record with a 7-under par score of 65.
