This time, the duo tied the equally hot team of Chris Okeson and partner Rob Schustrich in the better ball format on the front nine, with a score of 4-under par 31 on a hot holiday Monday.
Foss Wins CGA Event at Legends
Mark Foss made it clear that he wanted to win a CGA event to gain an exemption into the 2010 Cleveland Amateur. Now he has his 2010 victory, but he must push on to see if he finishes in the top five on the CGA money list on July 15th, the only exemption available to the CGA.
2010 Medalist Tour Freedom Classic Results
Scott Holmes was the only golfer to break par at The Quarry Golf Club in Canton on Friday, shooting a 3-under par 69 to win The Medalist Tour’s Freedom Classic on July 2.
Holmes beat the runner-up trio of Paul Wackerly, Tim Ailes and Eric Frishette by three shots. But the day’s finish was not without some controversy, as Wackerly was assessed a two-stroke penalty on the par-3 12th hole, and an entire group was disqualified there as well.

The Greater Cleveland Skins Game traveled to Tanglewood National in Bainbridge on this first night of July.
Of the 22 players in attendance, three newcomers cashed in for the first time this season while two regulars improved their position on the leaderboard.
2010 Chippewa Scratch League: Week 7 Results
The team of Mike Kracker and Dr. Jeff Mallette continued their winning ways on Monday, posting a 3-under par 33 in the scramble format on the newly lengthened back nine at Chippewa to win by one shot over a host of teams.
The pair birdied 10 and 11 as expected, but sealed the deal with a solid birdie from 12 feet from the new 185-yard tee box on 17, and followed that with a great up-and-down par from 40 yards after starting from the 480-yard back tee on the 18th.
