Chippewa Scratch League Season Extended to Oct 1

An all-day-all-night rain is forecast for Doylestown starting this morning, so the Monday, September 17th edition of the Chippewa Scratch League has been postponed.

Because a number of league players are scheduled to compete in The Egg at Sand Ridge next week Monday (and those players are all in the title chase), the League schedule has been extended by one additional week, to October 1st.

So a regular Scratch League 9-hole event will be played next week Monday as normal, and it will count toward the Leaderboard standings.

Then on Monday, October 1st, a 3/3/3 event with a steak dinner afterwards will be played to determine the final Leaderboard champion. This final event features an extra $10 per man per 3-hole segments of scramble / better ball / shamble (+$30), plus the overall total and skins.

So on Oct 1st, remember to bring money for golf, pot, skins, an extra $30 for 3/3/3, and an extra $15 for a steak dinner with all the trimmings. (Pre-paid league guys, bring the $15 entry amount on Oct 1st, too, as the final pre-pay goes toward Sep 24th…)
