Crouch Cruises to 2018 Daytona Beach Open Victory

Tim Crouch of Mount Vernon, Ohio, opened with an 11-under par 61 last Friday then cruised to victory on Saturday, March 31st in the eighth annual Daytona Beach Open.

Crouch closed with second round 68 to win by five strokes for his second victory on the Florida Golf Professional Tour.

Playing the Daytona Beach Golf Club’s North course at 6,338 yards, Crouch made five birdies on the front and six on the back the first round, then five birdies and a bogey in the finale for a 129 total. He earned $2,840 from the $17,420 purse.

His lone previous FPGT win came last April 17. 2017 at Tuscawilla CC in Winter Springs.

Crouch won the Ohio Open Championship in 2016.
