Darr Resigns as Ohio State Golf Coach

Donnie Darr

Former Northeast Ohio resident and Kent State player Donnie Darr, the Ohio State head men’s golf coach since 2009, has resigned from his position.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have coached at The Ohio State University,” Darr said. “It’s been a tremendous honor to serve this university and community the past six years, but now is the right time to move on and pursue other interests. I’m proud of this program’s growth and enjoyed every moment I spent with the student-athletes. I truly believe this team is poised for great success next season and the years to come.”

No official word is yet available on what Darr’s new pursuit may be.
