Dave Pulk Makes Match Play at U.S. Senior Amateur

USGAFormer Lake Forest member Dave Pulk, now of Williamsburg, was the only local to make it to the match play portion of the 2012 U.S. Senior Amateur in New Jersey this weekend. MATCH PLAY UPDATE INCLUDED 10/2

Pulk followed a solid 69 with a 79 to sit at T43, and heads into Monday’s match play bracket.

UPDATE: In match play, Pulk won his first match 2-up over Roger Brown of Scottsdale, but lost in the second round 2-up to Gary Hardin of Fort Worth.

The rest of the Ohio contingent fared as follows:

T73 Lynn Martin, Findlay, Ohio 75-76=151 (+9)

T115 Norton Brick, Elyria, Ohio 77-79=156 (+14)

T127 Richard Marlowe, Youngstown, Ohio 79-79=158 (+16)
