The 25th Annual Williams Challenge Golf Fundraiser tees off on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Good Park Golf Course, raising funds for aspiring low-income students in Summit County.

The cost is $125 per person or $500 for a foursome, including 18 holes of golf (with a half cart) and a sit-down dinner. Expect a day filled with awards, prizes, and raffles.
Sign up with a group or come solo—we’ll pair you up for a fantastic day of golf and fun! Last year, the event sold out, with golfers walking away with great prizes while helping us award life-changing scholarships.
Since 2007, the Williams Challenge, a not-for-profit dedicated to educational equity, has empowered Summit County youth and adults through scholarships. Each year, one female and one male high school senior—standouts in academics and community service—receive support to attend top universities nationwide.
This year marks 25 years of impact, honoring Kay D. Williams—Akron native, devoted wife, mother, and beacon of kindness—who passed away from Lupus in 1983. Founded by her husband, Frank, and their sons, the organization reflects her spirit of excellence and generosity.
