Klaric Qualifies for U.S. Mid-Am in Michigan

2019 US Mid-Am logoCuyahoga Falls’ Michael Klaric III, who recently won the Cleveland Am and Summit County Am in back-to-back weeks, continued his run by qualifying for the 2019 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship through a qualifier in Michigan yesterday.

Klaric shot 3-under par 67 to finish T2 at Orchard Lake Country Club in West Bloomfield, MI on Tuesday, August 20th. RESULTS >

Klaric will join North Canton’s Jeff Mallette, who was medalist at the Cincinnati qualifier, and Kent Monas of Akron, who qualified in Cleveland, as Northeast Ohio representatives in the 39th U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, which will take place at Colorado Golf Club in Parker, CO and CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, CO on September 14 – 19.
