After shooting matching scores of 149 for a T25 finish, Canton’s Jeff Mallette and Concord’s Tom Jereb are competing in the Round of 64 matches in the USGA’s U.S. Senior Amateur Championship today at The Kittansett Club in Marion, MA.
Jereb plays Craig Steinberg of Agoura Hills, CA in an early Monday morning match.

Mallette plays John Derrick of Waco, TX starting at 12 noon.
UPDATE: Mallette won his Round of 64 match 1-up. On Tuesday, he fell 2&1 in the Round of 32 to Sean Knapp of Oakmont.
