MAY 2024 UPDATE: NOGA POY

After two tournaments, Ryan Wirtz, the winner at the NOGA Stroke Play #1, tops the Northern Ohio Golf Association’s 2024 Great Lakes Auto Player of the Year points standings. Wirtz has a 37.5-point lead over Chris Okeson.

In the Senior Division, Doug Hauenstein leads the way after winning the Senior title at the first stroke play event at Sand Ridge. Hauenstein is ahead of Mike Belacic by 39 points; Belacic won the NOGA Four-Ball #1 with partner Scott Winckowski.

Next up for POY points is the Northeast Ohio Amateur Championship at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna June 8-10, where the biggest point values of the season are up for grabs…
