Northeast Ohio Golf is featured in the very first Player Edition of GolfStatus Magazine, as part of the Golf’s Movers and Shakers section.
In addition to a well-written editorial piece about the NEOHgolf.com website and what we do, the magazine features some great photos of local players Shayne Bishop, Mark Borlin, Ken Koprivec and Howard Clendenin. The magazine asked us for some photos from big local golf events to go along with their story, and we were happy to oblige.
A story sidebar offers a list of many of the big amateur tournaments played throughout Northeast Ohio each summer, too. A view of those pages:
GolfStatus is both an app and a magazine focused on bringing together golfers, courses, tournaments and golf advertisers. We’ll have a story about the company and its app in the weeks ahead.
Northeast Ohio Golf is a beta-tester for the GolfStatus app, specifically focused on its Tournament Management Software (TMS). The company is putting its finishing touches on the app’s wireless back-end functionality now. We’ve already tested the administrative and user front-ends of this TMS app in beta, and in our opinion it is the easiest-to-use option for live tournament scoring in the marketplace. Super-simple.
As soon as the GolfStatus TMS app makes its final move out of beta, a NEOHgolf.com Tournament Series Event will be one of the first tournaments in the country to give the app a real-world live-scoring testing! Watch for details soon.
In the meantime, go to the GolfStatus Player Edition online version of the magazine and visit page 46 to read the complete feature story on Northeast Ohio Golf.
And if you want to see and touch the print edition of the magazine, a number of area pro shops now have copies available. Or just ask us at our next Tournament Series event; we have a few copies and we are happy to share them…
