2012 Cleveland Amateur champion Nick Palladino of Highland Heights won a major amateur golf tournament on Saturday: the Monroe Invitational played in Pittsfield, NY.
In a playoff victory, Palladino become the first-ever Division III college player to claim that championship, an event dominated by Division I winners.
