The Northern Ohio Golf Association has announced a new version of its Winter Series, and this season registered players can participate at any area TrackMan indoor golf location.
The series begins with play on the virtual Muirfield Village Golf Club.
The NOGA Winter Series is open to golfers of every skill level. Each month starting in December, there will be a Net Tournament and a Scratch Tournament. Players will choose which tournament they would like to play in at registration. The Net Individual Tournament will be played from 6,000 Yards using current GHIN handicaps. The Scratch Individual Tournament will be played at 6,700 yards. Putting is set to manual and has a gimme distance of 8ft.
Each month’s tournament round must be played before the last day of that month. Each player can only compete once per month.
Players will register and pay the event entry fee of $25 through the NOGA tournament website. That entry fee covers the prize pool and administrative fees for NOGA. Once a player signs up for a time at the TrackMan facility they choose, players will pay the fee for golf at that selected Trackman facility.
Once NOGA receives a registration, the player will receive an invitation from the TrackMan Tournament System. This invitation email can take up to a day to process. Once the email is received, click ‘Go To Tournament’ in the email, log-in with your TrackMan account details (or create a free TrackMan account if you do not have one), click the orange ‘Join Tournament’ button, and you are in!
