Decide, test, revise.
The ‘braintrust’ for the Northeast Ohio Golf Stroke Play Series decided to try offering an option for professionals to play in its monthly events, putting them in a separate division but making them eligible for the same skins pot at twice the skins fee.
That test didn’t work.
Over the course of taking registrations for the first two events, only four pros contacted the Series asking to enter.
So it’s time to revise.
The Stroke Play Series will be run as amateurs only for all events going forward…
