The final Women’s Ohio State Golf Association event of the 2025 season kicked off on Monday from Lancaster Golf Club, located in the Southeast side of the state. Thirty-six women competed in three divisions in the first round of 27th Women’s Ohio State Senior Amateur Championship.
Lynn Thompson sits atop of the Championship Division after posting the low round of the day with a 3-over par 75. This would be enough to give Lynn a four shot lead heading into the final day of the Championship.
The other two division are led by Alison Cress, who finished just one shot back of Lynn Thompson with a 76. Alison will take a 7-stroke lead in the Whitacre Division and a 6 stroke lead in the Super Senior Division into the final day.
The Final Round of the WOSGA Senior Amateur Championship kicks off tomorrow morning with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at Lancaster Golf Club.
