Vaughn Snyder of Massillon, Ohio won the Lake Erie Golf Tour tournament at Chippewa Golf Club today, his second LEGT victory of the season.
In tough course conditions and with even tougher pin placements, Snyder fought his way to a 1-under par score of 70 to win by one stroke over Steve Lee of Columbus.
In the amateur division, Kenny Kowall of Parma, OH picked up his first LEGT win of the season, making four birdies on the back nine and cruising to a four stroke victory with a +1 over par (72). Congratulations to both players!
Next week, the Lake Erie Golf Tour moves to Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley on Thursday, August 25th.
