On a beautiful, sunny late-November day in Hudson, amateurs Danny Terry and Zoran Karic won the Black Friday 2-Man Jumble by a single shot over four runner-up pro/am and am/am teams.
Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club became the last minute host of the event after tournament director/pro Joe Vojtko determined that Fox Den, the usual host course, was too wet play. Terry and Karic loved Ellsworth, as they posted matching nines of 3-under par to capture the overall crown.
Seven teams shot 3-under par 32 to tie for the front nine scramble portion; judging bounce and rollout was difficult as the greens were still frozen solid in the morning.
As the weather warmed in the afternoon and the sun thawed the ground, Rod Boardman and Roger Tolly nabbed the Better Ball segment with a sizzling 5-under par 31 that included an eagle-3 skin on the par-5 17th hole.
