The Solon Comets served notice that they are not ready to relinquish their crown as they dominated action on Thursday at the Greater Cleveland Conference Pre-Season Tournament held at Pine Brook Golf Club in Grafton.
The Comets placed three golfers in the top five and were led by medalist Catherine Wang with a 79. The 2017 State Finalist Comets appear to be firing on all cylinders returning four of their top five from a year ago.
Runner up Medina continues to improve early in the year and may be able to challenge by the latter part of the season, but will need to watch as all conference teams seemed to be improved from 2017.
